Ok, so how do you interview someone that you have an enormous amount or respect and admiration for? Dan Allender's writings, and his story, have had a tremendous impact on me over the years. So, on a whim, I tell Jack Landham to try and book him on the show.

I never thought he would actually do it, but guess what - he agreed and will be on the show tomorrow night! I am excited/terrified and have no clue what to really say to the man. We are very fortunate to have William P. Young back on the show this week. Who is William P. Young you ask? He's the author of The Shack, which has now sold over 750,000 copies by riding the best marketing blitz that $300 can buy.

The book is not without it's detractors and controversy. Just check out Driscoll's rant on Youtube.

He's far from alone, but still, this book is having remarkable success. I read the book, and while I understand where some of the critics are coming from, it seems clear to me that most have not even read the book.

This book is great if you have shame issues, or if you have suffered greatly in your life.

Hello Friends!

Well, we're three shows in and we're trying to work out the kinks and learn some important lessons. Personally, I'm having a blast!

Our second show from Nashville was what I would really like our show to be like. We had lots of interaction with you, and we got some folks some solid help. That is fantastic! We want to thank John from WAY FM in Nashville for engineering the program! He did a great job for us, and we were very thankful.

Last night, it was great to have my friend, Kim Ketola, with us.  Talking about abortion in a non-politicized way is a tad difficult, but she did a great job.  Having been there, she is very grace based and merciful.  We had a really insightful conversation about a topic that is far more common in the pews than we care to think.

This coming week, we're going to have Cliff Barrows on the program. He worked with legendary evangelist Billy Graham for over 60 years! Can you believe it? He's a fascinating man, and we will have a great deal to learn from him.
